DATABASE ENGINEER / DBA ENGINEER

Role Overview:

As a Database Engineer / DBA Engineer at Wipro Limited, your role involves defining and developing Enterprise Data Structure, Data Warehouse, Master Data, Integration, and transaction processing. Your main responsibility is to maintain and strengthen the modeling standards and business information to support the organization and clients in new/existing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business leadership to provide strategic recommendations for maximizing the value of data assets and protecting the organization from disruptions
• Assess benefits and risks of data using tools like business capability models to create a data-centric view
• Create data strategy and roadmaps for Reference Data Architecture as required by clients
• Engage stakeholders to implement data governance models and ensure compliance with data modeling standards
• Oversee frameworks to manage data across the organization
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure system integrity and configuration
• Develop high-level data migration plans and understand technology trends for future IT needs
• Build enterprise technology environment for data architecture management, implementing best security practices
• Enable Delivery Teams by providing optimal delivery solutions and frameworks, monitoring system capabilities and performance
• Identify and mitigate technical, process, and structural risks in projects
• Ensure architecture principles and standards are consistently applied to all projects
• Optimize client engagement by supporting pre-sales teams, negotiating with clients, and demonstrating thought leadership

Qualifications Required:

• Mandatory Skills: PostgresSQL, SQL Server, Databases
• Experience: More than 10 years
