In this position, you'll work under the supervision of the Charge Technologist, assisting with the accessioning, triaging, and processing of specimens. Ideal candidates will have completed a Medical Laboratory Assistant program and should possess previous lab experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and apply medical terminology will enhance lab operations across various locations, including Vita and Niverville.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing specimens and sample triaging
• Perform routine procedures and phlebotomies
• Uphold safety and quality assurance standards
• Maintain confidentiality of all lab information
• Follow protocols and provide detailed documentation

Requirements

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Relevant experience in a laboratory setting preferred
• CSMLS Certification preferred
• Familiarity with sterile techniques
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office applications
