Entry Level Home Care Attendant

The Home Care Attendant will join a dedicated team that provides personalized care to clients across various backgrounds, ensuring they can remain in their homes safely. Responsibilities include following care plans developed by the Resource Coordinator while also applying independent judgment as necessary. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to engage with clients effectively and compassionately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in daily living activities and personal care needs
• Implement individualized care plans as directed
• Utilize independent judgment for task prioritization
• Collaborate with team members for client support
• Uphold confidentiality in all client interactions

Requirements

• Grade 12 education necessary
• Home Care Attendant Certificate or equivalent community experience
• Experience with the elderly or disabled is advantageous
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
