Server/Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests have an exceptional experience.

Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly desirable. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a lively environment dedicated to providing memorable service.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
• Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
• Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service
• Restock bar inventory as needed and communicate supply needs to management
• Comply with all health, safety, and food safety regulations in the food service industry
• Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
• Familiarity with POS systems or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions professionally
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and measuring ingredients accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
• Experience in hospitality or food industry environments is a plus
• Smart serve certified.
