About the Role

Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc. is a Fort McMurray-based landscape construction company with decades of experience building parks, sports facilities, subdivisions, and civil and environmental works. We do everything from earthworks to final planting.

We're looking for an experienced Landscape Foreman to lead field crews and keep projects moving. This is a hands-on position — you'll be working alongside your crew, not just supervising from the sidelines. You'll report to a Site Superintendent and be responsible for day-to-day construction execution, crew performance, and on-site safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a crew of 3–10 on all phases of landscape construction including grading, planting, and hardscape.
• Plan daily work activities and communicate upcoming material, equipment, and manpower needs to the Site Superintendent.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
• Monitor and enforce subcontractor compliance with project timelines and scope.
• Train crew members in Wilco procedures and safe work practices.
• Complete daily documentation including site reports and progress records.
• Verify quantities and support project administration as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 4 years of experience in landscape construction.
• Proven leadership-you have run a crew before
• Solid understanding of equipment operation. CAT skidsteers, mini hoe
• Ability to read and execute construction plans, read grade stakes, and use a laser level.
• Strong with numbers, record keeping, and basic technology.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Valid driver's license. Driving 1-ton truck with loaded trailer.
• Experience tying down equipment and transporting to site.
• Ability to work long hours including weekends; paid overtime applies.
