Install crew / General laborer

Job description

• General construction labor to install fabric buildings
• Physically capable of manual work
• Working from man lifts
• Using light construction tools, drills, jack hammers, hammer drills, chop saws, etc.
• Work is based in Aldersyde, Ab, with some installations throughout the province
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere
• Experience is not a determining factor; we are willing to train the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Installation of the steel structure and the fabric membrane of the building
• Hot fabric welding
• Repair / service calls

Qualifications

• Physically capable of manual labour
• Able to work outside in all seasons
• Able to work away from home
• Meet workplace safety standards
• Work well in a team environment
• Construction experience an asset but not required
• Safety tickets an asset (WHMIS, CSTS, FA, EWP, H2S ALIVE ETC)
• Clean Drivers Abstract and drug tests

Compensation and Benefits:

• Wages will be determined by experience
• Health benefits are offered after 3 months
• Group savings plan after 6 months
• Living and travel expenses are covered for out of town work
