Cloud Identity and M365 Tenant Governance Supervisor

M365/Azure Principal Architect—together you’ll translate architecture into executable engineering backlogs and delivery plans.

What you’ll do

• Team leadership
• Guide Azure, Entra ID, and cloud identity engineers with clear goals and performance expectations.
• Sequence priorities, manage workload, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Azure platform stewardship
• Design and govern subscriptions, resource groups, and landing zone models.
• Institutionalize RBAC, policy frameworks, automation, and monitoring.
• Continuously optimize spend, security, and performance, aligned to enterprise architecture and cloud strategy.
• Identity & access engineering
• Engineer Microsoft Entra ID services including lifecycle, Conditional Access, authentication, and privileged identity management.
• Maintain robust hybrid identity with reliable sync and federation.
• Advance modernization initiatives for identity and access.
• M365 tenant-wide governance
• Administer global tenant configuration, compliance controls, admin roles, and license enablement.
• Standardize policies and configuration baselines across the tenant.
• Security, compliance, and documentation
• Apply governance across Azure, Entra ID, and M365 admin.
• Meet cybersecurity standards, regulatory obligations, and audit controls.
• Curate runbooks, SOPs, and architectural references.
• Automation & observability
• Automate with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
• Build reusable patterns and operational processes.
• Harden reliability via monitoring, alerting, and proactive fixes.

What makes you a fit

• BS in CS, IS, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years in Azure, Entra ID, or enterprise cloud identity engineering.
• 1–2+ years leading technical teams or supervising engineers.
• Proven strength in cloud governance and automation practices.
• Expert-level Azure platform engineering and governance knowledge.
• Depth in Entra ID, identity lifecycle, Conditional Access, and authentication frameworks.
• Comfort with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and automation tools.

Compensation transparency

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,800 to $146,000 per year.
