Dental Insurance and Treatment Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Insurance and Treatment Coordinator to join friendly dental team. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between patients, insurance providers, and our clinical staff, ensuring smooth coordination of dental insurance processing and treatment planning.

• * Must have at least 2 years dental insurance experience**
• Review and verify patient insurance benefits
• Strong understanding of PPO dental insurances
• strong dental front desk experience
• Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations, verify coverage, and resolve claim discrepancies efficiently.
• Assist patients with understanding their dental insurance plans, explaining coverage limits, co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses.
• follow up on dental claims
• calculate treatment copayments
• Follow up on unpaid claims or outstanding balances
• Proven experience in a dental office setting with a focus on insurance billing and treatment coordination.
• Present treatment plans to patients
• collect payments
• perform insurance breakdowns and explain coverage to patients
• Excellent communication skills

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
