Job Description
As a Senior Representative - Inside Sales at our Company, your role involves interacting with existing customers to increase sales of our products and services. You will be responsible for obtaining and creating up-selling orders, focusing on proactive selling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and add value to their buying experience. You will manage a book of larger, more complex accounts and collaborate with outside sales to achieve sales goals.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Meet and exceed performance measurements based on volume budgets, profitability, penetration, and efficiency objectives.
- Constantly monitor and communicate with customers regarding order status, shipment planning, documentation, and scheduling.
- Work closely with the distribution center and logistic partners for shipment planning and customs documents.
- Communicate and engage with sales representatives to ensure prompt order processing.
- Enter orders in SAP, manage open orders including resolving stock availability and pricing issues.
- Handle returns, replacements, and FOC orders efficiently.
- Generate daily and monthly sales reports.
- Develop strong business relationships in existing accounts and prospect for opportunities.
- Own, qualify, and develop opportunities from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
- Stay updated on new products, competitive knowledge, industry trends, and report feedback to management.
- Lead other Inside Sales Representatives on processes, systems, and customer-related matters.
- *Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4-5 years of in-depth knowledge and experience in Sales and Sales Administration.
- Ability to solve problems with judgment and realistic understanding.
- Manage time effectively and adjust priorities as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with SAP ERP or similar ERP system is highly preferred.
