Duties

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen activities
• Manage and train staff on food handling, safety procedures, and customer service standards
• Oversee food safety compliance and ensure adherence to health regulations
• Handle cash handling and POS transactions
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members to build a skilled workforce
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through attentive service and prompt resolution of issues
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment
• Lead team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training initiatives
• Develop schedules to optimize staffing during peak hours while controlling labor costs

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant management, including supervising teams in food service or hospitality settings
• Strong knowledge of food industry standards, food safety, and kitchen experience
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally
• Proficiency in POS systems, particularly Aloha or similar platforms
• Leadership qualities with experience in team management, interviewing, and training staff
• Ability to manage food preparation, cooking, and overall restaurant operations efficiently
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and maintaining financial accuracy
• Knowledge of food handling regulations and food safety protocols
• Experience in restaurantenvironments is a plus for versatile management skills
