Role Description

We’re looking to collaborate with the right person — not fill a rigid role.

WellBeing International (WBI) is seeking a Communications & Digital Content Specialist to work with us on an hourly, contract basis, supporting our global mission to advance the well‑being of animals, people, and the environment.

This role is well‑suited to an experienced communications professional — including those who already run a small practice or consultancy — and is interested in mission‑aligned work that can integrate flexibly alongside existing commitments.

The work may include (depending on your strengths and interests):

• Email newsletters and fundraising communications
• Social media strategy and content creation
• Website updates and content management (WordPress)
• Short video editing for outreach and campaigns
• Design work (print and digital materials)
• Support for presentations, proposals, webinars, and podcasts
• Curating content in WBI’s digital knowledge repository

A few important notes about how we work:

• This is a part‑time, hourly contract position
• Hours are genuinely flexible and vary by project
• Scope and compensation are shaped around individual skill sets, with responsibilities directed toward the areas where you deliver the greatest value

We are less interested in maximizing hours and much more focused on quality, judgment, and alignment. If you value autonomy, clarity, and meaningful work — and care deeply about sustainability, animal welfare, or global well‑being — this could be a very good fit.
