Senior UI/UX Designer (Remote - Temp. Maternity Leave)

This is a remote position; however, candidates must be located in Canada. This role is a 12-month maternity leave replacement, with a strong possibility of transitioning into a permanent position.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative User Experience Designer to join our team. As a User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into innovative design solutions. If you have a passion for creating exceptional user experiences and possess a strong skill set in interaction design, we would love to hear from you.

Our office is fully stocked, along with catered lunches - but the role does not require coming into office. We are 100% flexible to your working needs.

Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define project goals and requirements
• Ensure that designs are consistent with brand guidelines and best practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

• Proven experience (8+ years) as a User Experience Designer or similar role
• Proficient in interaction design principles and methodologies
• Strong knowledge of design tools such as Figma
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
