Senior Salesforce Developer (Conga CPQ)

Summary

The Senior Salesforce Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable Salesforce solutions with a strong focus on Conga CPQ. This role requires deep technical expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools, along with strong CPQ configuration and customization capabilities. The ideal candidate will partner with business, CRM, ERP, and integration teams to deliver high-quality solutions that improve process efficiency, enhance user experience, and support GTM initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce customizations including Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Visualforce, and Flows.
• Configure, customize, and optimize Conga CPQ including product models, pricing rules, approval workflows, and quote templates.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Own end-to-end development lifecycle including solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure Salesforce and CPQ solutions follow best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems in partnership with integration teams (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, etc.).
• Support and mentor junior developers, providing code reviews and technical guidance.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Participate in Salesforce releases, new feature evaluations, and environment management activities.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of Salesforce development experience with strong Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative development skills.
• Hands-on experience implementing and optimizing Conga CPQ including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, data model, and automation tools (Flows, Process Builder).
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Salesforce Developer certifications (Platform Developer I/II) and CPQ certifications preferred.
