Role and Responsibilities

You will design and deliver advanced data science and machine learning solutions that power multilingual customer experiences at scale, from research through production deployment.

• Lead the design, development, and evaluation of machine learning systems for translation, localization, contextualization, and personalization.
• Drive applied research in natural language processing and multilingual AI, with opportunities to publish or patent research outcomes.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for real-time and batch multilingual use cases, ensuring performance, reliability, and data quality.
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical roadmaps, and own end-to-end delivery of data-driven solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining accurate and efficient machine learning systems.
• Experience with sequence-to-sequence modeling using Transformers or large language models, ideally for multilingual or speech-related applications.
• Proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Fluency in English and either Hindi or Mandarin.
• End-to-end ownership of machine learning systems, from research and prototyping through experimentation and deployment.
• Ability and willingness to mentor others in machine learning and data science practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced experience in data science, machine learning, or optimization models.
• PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Econometrics.
