We process thousands of inbound and outbound shipments weekly, ensuring our stores receive their freight precisely on time. Operational Flow

• Dispatch Coordination: Begin your shift by syncing with the transportation office via radio, receiving your digital sequence of required trailer moves for the designated operational block.
• Terminal Tractor Operation: Safely pilot a specialized terminal tractor (commonly known as a yard goat or hostler) throughout the expansive, high-traffic distribution yard.
• Precision Docking: Execute flawless backing maneuvers, smoothly sliding 53-foot commercial trailers into narrow dock doors to ensure the interior warehouse teams are continuously supplied with freight.
• Safety & Inspections: Conduct visual inspections of trailers for damage, ensure wheel chocks and dock locks are perfectly engaged, and flawlessly connect/disconnect air lines hundreds of times per shift.

Qualifications

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older (21+ preferred in some locations). A valid driver's license and an exceptionally clean driving record are required. While a Class A CDL is highly preferred, extensive experience operating terminal tractors or backing large trailers may qualify you for the role. Exceptional spatial awareness and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions are mandatory.
