Relief Pharmacist: Patient-Focused Role

Lead pharmacy operations as a Relief Pharmacist. Ensure safe, efficient prescription filling while fostering relationships with healthcare professionals to enhance patient experiences across locations. This role assists the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist, focusing on precise prescription management and patient counseling.

You will also establish communication with various healthcare stakeholders to streamline pharmacy operations and adhere to patient privacy regulations. Flexibility for travel to several sites is required as part of this role. Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process patient prescriptions and refill requests
• Fill prescriptions in accordance with established workflows
• Maintain secure and appropriate storage of pharmaceuticals
• Uphold patient privacy in all transactions
• Collaborate with clinics and other healthcare providers Requirements:
• Candidates must be 16 years or older
• Required to possess a valid Pharmacist License
• Additional permit for Alberta preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
