Pharmacy Assistant for Prescription Processing

Support patient care as a Pharmacy Assistant, assisting in prescription filling and administrative tasks. Your role enhances the Pharmacist's ability to provide exceptional customer service within Pharmacy Operations.

In this position, you'll focus on receiving and assessing prescriptions, performing essential data entry, and accurately filling prescriptions under supervision. Collaborating with the Pharmacist, you will maintain inventory control, perform general housekeeping duties, and support OTC operations as needed, playing a crucial role in day-to-day pharmacy activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and assess patient prescriptions for completeness
• Perform computer functions directed by the Pharmacist
• Fill prescriptions under Pharmacist supervision
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and check for expired medications
• Organize dispensary housekeeping and clerical tasks

Requirements

• Age 16 or older
• Strong attention to detail for prescription tasks
• Familiarity with pharmacy inventory management
• Skills in organization and communication
• Willingness to support OTC operations where needed
