Job Summary of Logistics Picker:

Walmart is currently seeking experienced and skilled Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team. Your role will involve selecting and packing merchandise for shipment, making sure that orders are fulfilled and customer satisfaction remains high.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Logistics Picker:

• Utilize hand-held devices or stock records to identify and choose products from designated stockpiling spaces.
• Retrieve items in a timely and accurate manner by skillfully navigating warehouse aisles and storage racks.
• Prior to packing, it is important to ensure that the details, quantities, and quality of the product are accurate.
• Your merchandise's safety can be guaranteed by using the right packaging materials and securely packing them.
• Label boxes using shipping information, tracking numbers, and barcodes.
• To prevent damages while shipping, it is recommended to seal packages tightly and securely.
• Before placing the products in the package, it's important to inspect them for any defects, damages or inconsistencies.
• Promptly notifying your supervisors of any problems is essential.
• By upholding quality control measures, we demonstrate our commitment to delivering top-notch products and excellent customer service.
• The warehouse management system inventory records should be constantly maintained and adjusted as needed.
• Notify supervisors of discrepancies or shortages in inventory levels.
• Assist in the execution of inventory audits and cycle counts as required.

• Proper training and knowledge of the machinery is crucial to operate picking equipment safely.

Qualifications and Experience of Logistics Picker:

• Individuals who have past experience in warehouse operations, order selection, or packaging may possess an advantage.
• It is recommended that candidates possess competence in handheld gadgets and warehouse management software.
• Skill to manipulate and transport bulky objects, as well as lift weighty loads up to 50 pounds.
• Intense attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accurate selection and packaging of items.
• Demonstrating superb abilities in organizing and managing time.
