Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure DevOps Engineer to support and maintain enterprise-scale cloud platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about automation, troubleshooting, and ensuring platform reliability in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in managing Azure resources, resolving incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall system efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain Azure resources and services, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Manage role-based access control (RBAC) configurations and permissions as a key responsibility.
• Troubleshoot and enhance DevOps pipelines, especially YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and maintenance tasks; occasionally use Python for data-related scripting or package installations.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using ARM templates and EV2 resource deployments.
• Support pipeline modernization and migration (e.g., classic to MOBR pipelines, or from Service Fabric to AKS).
• Respond to automated alerts and customer escalations, handling reliability issues and functional test failures.
• Follow Troubleshooting Guides (TSGs) for resolving different alert categories.
• Participate in on-call rotations (once every 45 days for a week) and provide tiered support when required.
• Collaborate across teams to triage, escalate, and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Provide support to internal customer teams (primarily data scientists), ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
• Contribute to security and compliance efforts such as S360 and SFI drives, when needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in Azure DevOps, Cloud Support, or SRE roles.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, RBAC, and pipeline troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting (mandatory); experience with Python is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with YAML pipelines, ARM templates, and infrastructure deployments.
• Familiarity with incident and alert management processes in cloud environments.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working in cross-functional teams.
• Availability to work in EST hours (6:30 PM 2:30 AM IST) to align with US and Latin American teams.
