Role Overview
The Globalscape Server Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, security, and optimization of enterprise server environments supporting secure file transfer, managed file transfer (MFT), and related infrastructure platforms. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security compliance across production and non-production systems.
Globalscape / EFT Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain Globalscape EFT (Enhanced File Transfer) and DMZ
- Manage SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS protocols
- Configure workflows, automation, and event rules
- Maintain high availability (HA) and clustering setups
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot file transfer issues
- Sites creation/deletion
Mandatory Skills :
- PowerShell scripting , Python, VB scripting
- Batch scripting
- Experience with Globalscape EFT, DMZ gateway including installation/upgrade/configure on the multiple multitenant HA cluster, Server/site administration, Automation development(Events/Workflows).
Security & Compliance
- Implement SSL/TLS/Ciphers/KEX algorithm's certificates
- Harden servers according to security standards
- Conduct vulnerability remediation
- Support compliance frameworks
- Manage firewall rules and network security policies
