## About this Role

We are seeking an experienced cloud and virtualisation professional to integrate, enhance, and operate enterprise-grade cloud and virtual infrastructure platforms that support mission‑critical Vodafone applications and services. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, operational excellence, and continuous optimisation of global cloud and virtualisation environments, while supporting technology refresh, innovation, and the adoption of emerging cloud solutions.

## What you will do

Operate and support Vodafone’s virtual infrastructure services on a 24/7 basis, ensuring stability, performance, and resilience in line with ITIL practices (Incident, Change, Problem, Release, and Service Request management).Support and execute proof of concepts and operational readiness assessments for cloud and virtualisation technologies.Contribute to cloud refresh and decommissioning programmes to sustain innovation and modernisation of the infrastructure estate.Support the integration of new cloud technologies into global delivery centres, aligning with operational and security requirements.Continuously analyse, optimise, simplify, and extend cloud and virtual platforms to meet evolving business and customer needs.

## Who you are

An experienced cloud and data centre virtualisation professional with strong expertise in VMware technologies.Confident working in multinational, enterprise-scale environments with diverse stakeholders.Knowledgeable in ITIL processes, security, and compliance requirements, including SOX.Experienced in server administration, database administration, and project delivery.Able to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English.Technically curious, proactive, and comfortable applying judgement in complex and evolving cloud environments.
