Outside Plant Line Technician

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Line Technician in outside plant construction. Utilize your technical expertise in fibre optics, copper, and RF coax work while ensuring top-quality and safety standards are met.

This permanent, full-time position focuses on hands-on construction tasks across Canada and the United States. You will operate specialized equipment, conduct testing and troubleshooting, and collaborate within a team to deliver high-quality services. Your attention to detail will be crucial in working with various cable types and adhering to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate aerial device and cable lashing machines
• Load and unload cables and equipment trailers
• Perform plant line construction with various cables
• Conduct necessary testing and troubleshooting
• Follow all safety policies and regulations

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a Line Technician
• Valid driver’s license; Class 3 preferred
• Ability to lift heavy equipment safely
• Experience with OSP and FTTx projects beneficial
• Willingness to work overtime and on-call
