As a YouTube Editor at Vireo Video, your role will focus on crafting visually compelling and engaging video content that enhances viewer retention and drives channel performance. You will collaborate closely with our Account Managers to develop assets tailored to our clients' needs.

Responsibilties

Video Editing:

• Edit high-quality videos with a focus on maintaining viewer engagement and retention.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, and effects to enhance storytelling and visual appeal.
• Ensure videos are polished, cohesive, and aligned with the overall content strategy.

Ad Editing and Motion Graphics:

• Design and edit ads, incorporating motion graphics to capture viewer attention.
• Utilize animation and dynamic visuals to create engaging and persuasive ads.
• Collaborate with the marketing and client teams to ensure ad creative aligns with campaign goals and brand guidelines.

Creative Collaboration and QA:

• Work closely with Account Managers to understand client needs and deliver assets that meet their objectives.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative ideas for thumbnails, video content, and ads.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with Account Managers to understand client needs and deliver visual assets that meet their objectives.

Workflow Management:

• Organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhere to deadlines, and ensure efficient post-production processes.

Trend Awareness:

• Stay updated on the latest editing styles and techniques to bring creative innovation to clients.
• Stay updated on YouTube thumbnail trends and best practices.

Brand Consistency:

• Ensure brand consistency across all visual designs and marketing projects.

YouTube Knowledge and Experience:

• Deeply passionate and knowledgeable about YouTube content, best practices, and trends.
• Experience with designing high CTR thumbnails, and editing YouTube videos for retention/ and or long form ads.

Attention to Detail:

• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality output, consistency, and brand coherence.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with account managers, content creators, and the creative producer.
• Eager and open to feedback, with the ability to seamlessly incorporate suggestions into your work, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with project goals and team expectations.

Project Management:

• Ability to manage own projects based on priority and deadlines, with Project management tools.

Education

• 4+ years editing YouTube videos preferably working with brands and not just creators

AI Proficiency:

• Experience using AI tools for video editing and design to enhance efficiency and creativity.
