Automotive Shipping & Receiving Clerk Responsibilities

As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Parts Warehouse Associate, you will support daily warehouse and automotive parts department operations by ensuring accurate shipping, receiving, inventory organization, and parts handling.

Duties Include:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming automotive parts shipments
• Compare shipments to invoices and bills of lading
• Prepare outgoing shipments and package items securely
• Label and organize shipments accurately
• Route incoming inventory to the appropriate departments
• Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and warehouse equipment as needed
• Process damaged, returned, or unsold parts
• Pick up and deliver automotive parts from wholesale warehouses
• Maintain stock levels and ensure proper storage procedures
• Assist with general warehouse and parts department operations

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership experience preferred
• Shipping & receiving or warehouse experience is a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated
• Ability to lift and move automotive parts and materials
• Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
• Desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry
