The Position:

At Victor O'Neill Studios (VOS), we’re seeking talented photographers who are eager to create stunning school portraits that families will treasure. If you have experience in various volume photography markets, enjoy working with children/young adults, and are energetic and detail-oriented, we want YOU to join our team!

Competitive Pay: $19 - $23 per hour, depending on your experience and portfolio. Training starts at $18/hr, with a training period of just 2 weeks or less.

What You'll Do

Capture Beautiful Portraits: Take professional Senior Portraits of Formal, Cap and Gown, and casual outfits. Providing a great experience for our Senior students.

Setup & Prep: Arrive on-site promptly to set up your equipment and prepare for a seamless photo session.

Maintain a Smooth Workflow: Manage your time effectively to keep everything running on schedule.

Ensure High-Quality Photos: Deliver consistently outstanding images that families will cherish.

Accurate Data Entry: Input student information into the software with attention to detail.

Team Collaboration: Assist other photographers and support staff as needed to ensure a successful shoot.

Professional Representation: Uphold VOS’s high standards by maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

Photography Experience: Previous portrait photography experience is required. Ideally, you’ve worked multiple markets in a high-volume environment such as school photography, and have an intermediate to advanced skill level. Please include a portfolio showcasing your work when applying.

People Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with children, parents, and staff. You’ll be working with a dynamic team, so being a team player is key.

Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation. (Rideshare services like Uber are not acceptable.)

Background Check: Must pass a standard background check.

Schedule Flexibility: You must be available for early mornings and be able to stay until the job is completed (typically 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, weekdays only). Some rare weekend shifts may be requested.
