Junior Developer / Tester – AI Coding Product

We are a pre‑seed AI startup building a global public product around AI‑assisted building and assessment. Our focus is on how real people collaborate with modern AI tools, not just how they write code, and we’re iterating quickly with real users. You’ll work directly with the founder and see how a product evolves from early experiments to something used by teams worldwide.

Role Description

We’re hiring a Junior Developers / Testers – AI Product (0–2 years, Hyderabad , India) to help us build and harden core user flows. You’ll combine manual testing with frontend (TypeScript) and backend (Python) changes, using AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code to move fast. You will have strong learning exposure to shipping a global AI product from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Understand and validate key user journeys .
• Perform functional and regression testing on the web app, maintain test checklists, and re‑test fixes quickly.
• Implement frontend changes in TypeScript (UI tweaks, validation, basic components) and backend updates in Python (simple logic, logging, basic checks) on a Postgres‑backed stack.
• Use GitHub Copilot / Claude Code regularly to speed up coding, debugging, writing test scripts, and generating test data.
• Log issues clearly with steps, expected vs actual behavior, screenshots, and suggest small UX/flow improvements when you see friction.
• Work closely with the founder, communicate progress and blockers clearly, use Git/GitHub for all work, and keep concise notes on test cases and known issues.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in AI Chat Application Development or Testing with strong knowledge of Prompt Engineering, AI SDK;s ( Langchain, OpenAI SDK, RAG etc )
• Hands‑on mindset with AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot / Claude Code, Lovable. Replit), interest in prompt engineering, strong attention to detail, and an independent, fast‑iterating working style.
