Veterinary Medical Practitioner (India)

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our Mumbai clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical and surgical care while contributing to a collaborative, patient-first clinical culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in companion animals
• Perform soft tissue and routine surgical procedures
• Provide preventive healthcare including vaccinations, deworming, and wellness consultations
• Conduct and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Develop customized treatment plans and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and specialists for complex case management
• Educate pet parents on treatment protocols, nutrition, and preventive care
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and hygiene standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) / BVSc & AH or equivalent degree
• Robust expertise in veterinary medicine and surgery
• Proficiency in pet diagnostics and laboratory interpretation
• Hands-on experience in managing OPD and IPD cases
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-driven environment
• Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred but not mandatory)
