Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Learning Experience Design & Development Associate Manager to lead instructional design initiatives and manage end-to-end learning development projects. The role involves designing impactful learning solutions, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality training deliverables aligned with business goals.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, curriculum development, and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Design & Learning Development

  • Design and develop engaging learning solutions including e-learning, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), job aids, and blended learning programs.
  • Create conceptual and detailed instructional designs aligned with business objectives and learner needs.
  • Conduct audience analysis and learning needs assessments to define appropriate learning objectives and strategies.
  • Develop instructional materials, modules, assessments, and supporting learning resources.
  • Ensure learning content follows instructional design standards, quality guidelines, and adult learning principles.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness and recommend improvements based on learner feedback and performance metrics.

Project & Team Management

  • Lead multiple learning development projects with medium to large scope and budget.
  • Create project plans, timelines, resource allocation plans, and effort estimations.
  • Coordinate activities across instructional design, media, technology, delivery, and stakeholder teams.
  • Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure delivery within timelines and budget.
  • Facilitate project kick-offs, stakeholder reviews, and status updates.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to instructional design team members.

Stakeholder & SME Collaboration

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather content and define learning requirements.
  • Facilitate discussions with sponsors and SMEs to ensure alignment on expectations, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Support global learning initiatives with localization and cultural adaptation considerations.
  • Manage stakeholder feedback and oversee content revisions while maintaining project scope.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Review deliverables for accuracy, consistency, instructional quality, and compliance with standards.
  • Conduct course usability testing and oversee corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in learning development.
  • Monitor course assessment results and training effectiveness against service level expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Cognitive Psychology, English, Technical Writing, Communications, or related field preferred.

Experience

  • 10 14 years of experience in instructional design, learning development, or talent development.
  • Experience leading instructional design teams and managing learning projects.
  • Experience developing learning solutions for global audiences is preferred.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning theory.
  • Expertise in web-based learning tools and learning development technologies.
  • Experience in designing ILT, VILT, e-learning, and blended learning solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and project management capabilities
