If you want to work with the most talented people on Earth furthering space exploration for humanity, come join us.</p></div><p>Vast is looking for a <strong>Technical Sourcer II (Fixed Term)</strong>, reporting to the <strong>Manager of Talent Sourcing</strong>, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.</p>
<p>You’ll be at the forefront of identifying and engaging the engineers who will design, build, and launch the next generation of human-rated space systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to deepen your technical recruiting expertise, partner closely with hiring teams, and influence how we attract world-class talent in one of the most ambitious industries on Earth.</p>
<p>This will be a <strong>full-time</strong>, <strong>6 month fixed term</strong><strong> </strong>position located in our <strong>Long Beach</strong> location. </p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify top technical talent across a variety of engineering disciplines</li>
<li>Build and maintain robust pipelines of passive and active candidates to support current and future hiring needs</li>
<li>Engage prospective candidates through thoughtful outreach, sharing Vast’s mission and inspiring interest in our work</li>
<li>Conduct initial candidate screens and exploratory conversations to assess technical alignment, experience, and motivation</li>
<li>Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and translate them into effective sourcing plans</li>
<li>Track and manage candidate activity to ensure a high-quality, consistent talent pipeline</li>
</ul>
<p><br><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of proven experience as a technical sourcer or a similar talent acquisition role</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred Skills & Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent</li>
<li>Experience with Greenhouse</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to source candidates with niche areas of expertise</li>
<li>Self-directed with a high sense of urgency while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail</li>
<li>Strong customer service mindset</li>
<li>Excellent communicator and problem solver</li>
<li>Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and maintain unwavering poise under pressure</li>
<li>Highly organized with a knack for building relationships</li>

<li>Senior Technical Sourcer: $55 - $79</li>

<div>Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
