If you want to work with the most talented people on Earth furthering space exploration for humanity, come join us.</p></div><p>Vast is looking for a <strong>Mission Integrator</strong>,&nbsp;reporting to the<strong> Vice President of Mission Management, </strong>to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Mission Integrator is focused on coordination, documentation, and execution support under guidance from senior team members.&nbsp;</p> <p>This will be a <strong>full-time</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>exempt</strong> position located in our&nbsp;<strong>Long Beach</strong>&nbsp;location.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own defined mission workstreams, which are elements of a larger mission (specific customer contract, payload integration, vehicle interfaces, etc.)</li> <li>Draft and manage ICDs with external customers</li> <li>Maintain integrated project schedules tied to contractual milestones</li> <li>Support hands-on integration activities including:</li> <li>Mission planning and integrated schedule execution</li> <li>Payload rack integration and ground support equipment development</li> <li>Launch vehicle and transport vehicle integration coordination</li> <li>Act as day to day technical interface for assigned customers</li> <li>Identify and mitigate technical and programmatic risks</li> <li>Support proposal writing and customer technical discussions</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or other technical discipline</li> <li>2+ years of hands-on engineering experience followed by 2-5 years of experience in systems engineering, technical project management, or customer facing program roles in aerospace</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Exposure to human spaceflight systems</li> <li>Familiarity with ICD development and negotiation</li> <li>Experience coordinating across multiple internal engineering disciplines</li> </ul> <p><strong>Pay Range:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Mission Integrator: $77,900 - $110,500</li> <li>Mission Integrator II: $94,300 - $133,800</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Pay Range: California</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$77,900</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$133,800 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><div style="line-height: 1;"><strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS</strong></div> <div style="line-height: 1;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="line-height: 1;"> <div> <div data-qa="message_pane"> <div> <div id="message-list"> <div id="message-list"> <div data-qa="slack_kit_scrollbar"> <div> <div data-qa="slack_kit_list"> <div id="message-list_1770163429.476589" data-qa="virtual-list-item" data-item-key="1770163429.476589"> <div data-qa="message_container" data-qa-unprocessed="false" data-qa-placeholder="false" data-msg-ts="1770163429.476589" data-msg-channel-id="D1T52LDR4"> <div data-qa-hover="true"> <div> <div> <div> <div data-qa="message_content"> <div> <div data-qa="message-text"> <div data-qa="block-kit-renderer"> <div> <div> <div>Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
