If you want to work with the most talented people on Earth furthering space exploration for humanity, come join us.</p></div><p>Vast is looking for a <strong>Manufacturing Coordinator, Structures</strong> reporting to the <strong>Production Manager, Structures &amp; Mechanical Assembly</strong>, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.</p> <p>This will be a <strong>full-time</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>non-exempt</strong> position located in our&nbsp;<strong>Long Beach </strong>location.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor, track, and move parts as required through the manufacturing shop floor to ensure timely delivery through completion</li> <li>Ensure parts are handled in the proper manner to avoid any damages</li> <li>Coordinate with purchasing and logistics to ensure parts are moved to outsourcing locations</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering, planning and procurement teams to ensure that shortages are flagged ahead of time and delivered by the shop floor need date</li> <li>Work closely with manufacturing management to ensure metric goals are met</li> <li>Communicate part status and completion dates to customer</li> <li>Assist leadership with projects and action items as needed</li> <li>Utilize bandsaw to supply raw materials to Machine Shop</li> <li>Support manufacturing shop floor with returns to inventory</li> <li>Follow up with engineering on open issues blocking RUN completion</li> <li>Assist in correcting wrong system data which is driving incorrect MRP signals</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent certificate</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ Years of handling parts in a manufacturing environment</li> <li>Strong computer skills</li> <li>Inventory experience</li> <li>Experience with MRP/ERP systems</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted</li> <li>Must be willing to work overtime and or weekends as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>Pay Range:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manufacturing Coordinator I: $19.30 - $27.40</li> <li>Manufacturing Coordinator II: $22.15 - $31.45</li> <li>Senior Manufacturing Coordinator: $28.70 - $40.75</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Pay Range: California</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$19.30</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$40.75 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><div style="line-height: 1;"><strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS</strong></div> <div style="line-height: 1;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="line-height: 1;"> <div> <div data-qa="message_pane"> <div> <div id="message-list"> <div id="message-list"> <div data-qa="slack_kit_scrollbar"> <div> <div data-qa="slack_kit_list"> <div id="message-list_1770163429.476589" data-qa="virtual-list-item" data-item-key="1770163429.476589"> <div data-qa="message_container" data-qa-unprocessed="false" data-qa-placeholder="false" data-msg-ts="1770163429.476589" data-msg-channel-id="D1T52LDR4"> <div data-qa-hover="true"> <div> <div> <div> <div data-qa="message_content"> <div> <div data-qa="message-text"> <div data-qa="block-kit-renderer"> <div> <div> <div>Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
