About the role
Reporting to the VP of Strategic Growth & Planning, we are seeking a highly motivated and fluently bilingual Program Success Manager based in Eastern Ontario to support home charging programs. This is a multi-functional role focused on providing exceptional customer and partner experience across onboarding, training, account coordination, and first-level support.
Travel to client sites, including regular visits to dealerships and partner locations across Ontario, is an integral part of the role. The successful candidate will be comfortable representing the company in person, building relationships on-site, and supporting the rollout of programs directly within dealerships. The primary territory will focus on Western/Southern Ontario, with occasional travel required to Western Canadian provinces as business needs evolve.
As the program expands, this position offers significant opportunities for growth and specialization within the customer experience and training function.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Support & Coordination
· Serve as the primary point of contact for participating dealerships and partners across Western/Southern Ontario, with occasional support for accounts in other Western Canadian regions.
· Manage the ongoing delivery of home charging programs
· Support new partner onboarding and ensure existing dealers have continued access to the tools, resources, and training they need to succeed.
· Track program participation, proactively engage with accounts to maintain high levels of activity and satisfaction, and address any operational challenges.
· Communicate updates, timelines, and key information clearly and consistently.
Training & Enablement
· Deliver engaging training sessions for dealership staff and program partners, both virtually and on-site.
· Conduct refresher and new-hire training to reinforce product knowledge and ensure consistent understanding of the program.
· Develop and maintain strong subject matter expertise in Variablegrid’s home charging solutions, including hardware, software, and installation processes.
Customer & Partner Experience
· Conduct welcome calls with product customers to ensure a positive start to their charging experience.
· Provide assistance with order inquiries, product questions, and navigation of the online ordering portal.
· Maintain accurate CRM records of interactions, training sessions, and follow-ups.
· Coordinate with internal fulfilment, support, and operations teams to ensure prompt and positive resolution of customer or partner concerns.
Required Qualifications
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Based in Ontario, with flexibility to travel within the province as needed
· 2–4 years of experience in a client-facing, training, or support role
· Automotive industry experience is strongly preferred, ideally with direct exposure to dealership operations
· Proactive about outreach, whether it’s connecting with new leads or staying in touch with dealer contacts, you're comfortable picking up the phone and building relationships.
· Strong presentation skills and confidence delivering virtual or in-person sessions
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-moving environment
· Confident using digital tools for virtual presentations, CRM updates, and reporting
Bonus
· Familiarity with EV infrastructure, technical installations, or customer onboarding processes
Tools & Technology
· Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle for regular travel within Ontario
· Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive).
· Experience using Zoho or a comparable CRM for tracking activity and managing workflows.
· Comfortable using virtual meeting platforms and presentation tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom).
· Ability to navigate file sharing, ticketing systems, and digital onboarding portals.
· Willingness to learn internal systems related to EV charger onboarding and smart controller configuration.
