About Us

Here at Vantage Retail Design Inc. we are a small, collaborative graphics and production team creating POP, print, and digital assets for local and global clients. We’re looking for a Graphic Designer who is versatile, detail‑oriented, and excited to work in a fast‑paced, hands-on environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creative design and production‑ready file preparation.

The Role

As a Graphic Designer, you will work closely with our senior designers and production team to create, adjust, and prepare artwork across a wide range of projects. You’ll support internal teams, contribute to client‑facing deliverables, and help maintain smooth workflow across multiple ongoing projects.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop graphic assets for print, digital, and in‑store marketing using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Create clear, accurate art proofs and ensure all designs meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with senior designers to refine concepts and elevate visual output.
• Communicate with internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
• Adjust, modify, and prepare production‑ready files for various print methods and formats.
• Retouch and edit images as needed.
• Assist with print production tasks such as gathering samples, preparing mock‑ups, and coordinating with suppliers.
• Manage deadlines and event‑based timelines while maintaining high‑quality work.
• Stay current with design trends across print, packaging, digital, and retail environments.

Requirements

• College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Art, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience working as a graphic designer.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign (minimum 1 year of hands‑on use).
• Basic proficiency in Photoshop (retouching, resizing, colour adjustments).
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (filtering, basic formulas, formatting).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word) is an asset.
• Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to prepare accurately, print‑ready files for signage, brochures, packaging, and other formats.
• Detail‑oriented and comfortable working with measurements and production specifications.
• Highly organized with strong file‑management habits.
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and jump into ongoing projects seamlessly.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Experience in retail graphics is an asset!

Education A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Fine Art Design, or a related discipline is preferred.
