Paid Media Election Fellow

Van Ness Creative Strategies is looking for passionate Democrats who are college seniors or recent graduates for our Paid Media Election Fellow position.

If you’re interested in pursuing a career in politics and digital strategy, this position is for you!

Tasks may include (and please denote experience in any of these areas):

• Assist in building, launching, and managing paid media campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads (Search, YouTube, Display), X and programmatic channels
• Collaborate with our studio (creative) team to edit direct-to-camera videos
• Assist with developing compelling ad copy and visual concepts
• Support A/B testing of ad creatives, copy, and audience segments for fundraising and persuasion objectives

You should apply if:

• Have experience working with digital ads and creative strategy
• Have a thorough understanding of the national political landscape
• Check the news and Twitter (X) constantly for the newest updates
• Are passionate about Democratic candidates, organizations and causes

This fellowship requires at least 20 hours of availability each week, up to 40 hours. This fellowship pays $20 an hour. We operate on a hybrid schedule out of our Brooklyn loft offices (in office Mondays and Wednesdays).
