Job Description

1. Independently handle installation, commissioning, and complex servicing of thresher machines.

2. Diagnose and resolve major mechanical failures related to threshing drums, concaves, sieves, blowers, shafts, gearboxes, and power transmission systems.

3. Lead critical breakdowns and emergency service support during peak harvest season.

4. Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules and seasonal service campaigns.

5. Analyse issues related to grain loss, vibration, performance efficiency, and recommend corrective actions.

6. Ensure proper documentation, warranty claims, and root cause analysis (RCA) reports.

7. Coordinate with spare parts, dealers, and factory technical teams.

8. Conduct operator and farmer training programs on secure operation and maintenance.

9. Ensure strict adherence to safety norms and company service standards.

10. Provide structured technical feedback for product improvement and design enhancement.

Candidate Requirements:

1. ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Agricultural Engineering.

2. Minimum 5+ years of continuous experience in servicing Harvester or thresher machines.

3. Strong command over diesel engines, belt/chain drive systems, gearboxes, bearings, and basic hydraulics.

4. Working knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting (starter, wiring, sensors – preferred).

5. Willingness to travel extensively across rural/agricultural locations.

6. Effective communication skills in local languages.

7. Valid driving license (two-wheeler / four-wheeler).
