Full Stack Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our Sec OPs Modular Platform Team. The Modular Platform Programme has been established to enhance the Customer developer experience by creating a single entry point into a range of tools and capabilities supplied via Modular Platforms with AI at their core.

The ideal candidate will be proficient across frontend and backend technologies, capable of developing scalable solutions and experienced in integrating systems in a crossfunctional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications, covering backend development
• Develop clean, maintainable code and contribute to architectural decisions for new and existing applications
• Build responsive, userfriendly UI components using modern frontend frameworks (React)
• Develop scalable serverside logic, APIs, and microservices using relevant programming languages and frameworks
• Design and manage database schemas, queries, and optimisation for both SQL and NoSQL systems
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to refine requirements and deliver highquality features
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, documentation, and version control
• Ensure application performance, security, and reliability across the full technology stack
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers
• Participate in code reviews to uphold engineering standards and mentor junior developers
• Manage cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines to support efficient, automated delivery

Skills And Experience

• 5 -7 years experience as a Full Stack Developer, with strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end languages and frameworks including the following which are essential:
• Front-end - React
• Back-end - Python, Java, Java Script, SQL, NoSQL, Node.js and PHP
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS and Azure)
• Ability to debug complex systems and deliver resilient, scalable solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience of InfrastructureasCode (IaC) e.g. Terraform - desirable
• Experience of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins and/or Harness - desirable)
• Containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes) in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks: Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, NoSQL, Node.js and PHP
