Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mental Health Specialist, based in Bikaner. In this position, the specialist will provide professional mental health assessment, counseling, and support services to individuals or groups, using evidence-based techniques. Responsibilities include maintaining detailed and confidential client records, developing and implementing treatment plans, facilitating mental health awareness programs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. The specialist will also play a crucial role in identifying and addressing the mental well-being needs of employees in workplace settings, considering cultural sensitivity and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in mental health assessment, counseling, and psychotherapy techniques.
• Strong knowledge of psychological theories, ethical practices, and evidence-based methods for mental health care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for active listening, empathy, and rapport building with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to design and implement mental health awareness and wellness initiatives in workplace environments.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain detailed and confidential client records accurately.
• Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, with relevant state certifications or licensure.
• Experience working in mental health counseling or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with cultural competency and sensitivity in mental health practices is an asset.
