This role will focus on identifying emerging talent reporting on news in the influencer and podcast space and exploring opportunities for partnerships that resonate with our audience. The ideal candidate is a sharp storyteller with a deep understanding of new media culture a passion for breaking news and trend-driven coverage and the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance reporting and :Influencer & Podcast Coverage:Report on news trends and developments in the influencer and podcast emerging talent and established creators who connect with USA TODAYs video tools to report from influencer and podcast Identification & Partnerships:Spot rising influencers and podcast hosts for coverage and potential with the New Media Editor to explore partnership opportunities with creators and Creation & AI Integration:Pitch and produce compelling stories that stand out in the digital entertainment AI tools to assist with research trend analysis transcription and content packaging to improve efficiency and with social and video teams to enhance storytelling through multimedia Monitoring:Stay ahead of cultural shifts and platform changes impacting influencers and analytics and audience insights to inform coverage decisions. Requirements:Experience in digital journalism or entertainment reporting with a focus on influencers or podcasts writing and reporting skills with an eye for accuracy and with social platforms creator economy and podcasting to work quickly and creatively in a fast-paced with AI tools for reporting research and workflow mindset and willingness to experiment with new storytelling formats.
