LEAD FIREFIGHTER

You will serve as a LEAD FIREFIGHTER in the N30 FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES of NSF NRL.

Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcementQualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing in rescue operations; 2) Assisting in the reduction and elimination of potential fire hazards; 3) Operating a variety of firefighting vehicles, apparatuses, or equipment and 4) Performing non-invasive emergency and medical procedures.

This position requires possession of the following certifications: 1) Firefighter I and II; 2) HAZMAT Operations; 3) HAZMAT Technician; 4) Fire Officer I; 5) Fire Instructor I; 6) Fire Inspector I; 7) Airport Firefighter 8) Certification in Driver Operator-Pumper 9) Driver Operator Aerial; 10)Driver Operator (ARFF) - (REQUIRED ONLY FOR UIC 47608); 11) Also requires National Registry Emergency Medical Technician Basic (NREMT-B) certification. These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement.
