Job Description

As a QA Intern at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Quality Assurance and Engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in writing, reviewing, and executing manual test cases
  • Performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using project management or bug-tracking tools
  • Maintaining and updating test documentation and test case repositories
  • Supporting basic automation testing tasks, where applicable
  • Participating in sprint testing cycles, daily stand-ups, and QA review meetings
  • Validating bug fixes and conducting re-testing as required
  • Contributing to improving overall test coverage and testing efficiency

Qualifications required for the role include:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
  • Familiarity with manual testing concepts and methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative

Preferred qualifications for the role include exposure to bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA or similar platforms) and a basic understanding of automation testing concepts.

In addition to gaining practical exposure to real-world product development cycles and hands-on experience with QA processes and testing methodologies, you will also benefit from mentorship provided by experienced QA professionals. There is also the opportunity for full-time conversion based on performance and business requirements.
