Job Description (JD) – Car Accessories Fitment Technician
Designation: Car Accessories Fitment Technician
Department: Service / Accessories
Location: Automobile Dealership / Workshop
Reporting To: Accessories In-Charge / Service Manager
Job Purpose
To install, inspect, and maintain genuine and approved car accessories on customer vehicles while ensuring quality workmanship, safety standards, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Fit and install various automobile accessories such as:
- Seat Covers
- Music Systems / Speakers
- Reverse Parking Sensors & Cameras
- Fog Lamps
- Roof Rails
- Alloy Wheels
- Floor Mats
- Central Locking Systems
- GPS Trackers
- Dash Cameras
- Chrome Garnish & Body Kits
- Ensure proper wiring and electrical connections without damaging vehicle systems.
- Perform quality checks after installation to ensure accessories function correctly.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace cleanliness.
- Follow dealership and manufacturer installation guidelines.
- Report any vehicle defects or concerns observed during fitment.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Accessories Sales Team regarding fitment schedules.
- Complete job cards and related documentation accurately.
- Ensure timely delivery of vehicles as per committed timelines.
- Adhere to all safety and workshop procedures.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in automobile accessories fitment.
- Freshers with relevant technical training may also apply.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and installation manuals.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of vehicle interiors and body parts.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
