The University of Arkansas Grantham is looking for a remote Director of Science, Engineering & Technology in the following states: AL, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, KS, IA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MO, MS, NC, NE, NJ, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI and WY. POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Director, College of Science, Engineering & Technology leads and actively participates in the development of the programs and curriculum. This role supervises administrative staff and is responsible for strengthening the programs, enhancing the student learning experience, strategically works to gain and maintain accreditation and determines the metrics and processes necessary to manage the programs within the College. The Director is responsible for providing leadership through planning, managing resources, and implementing academically comprehensive programs.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership for degree programs in the College
• Supervise the Chair(s) to ensure program quality and student success are maintained
• Responsible for departmental strategic planning, supervision and management of curriculum/program quality and development, and academic and instructional improvement
• Strategically leverage Anthology and other reporting resources to manage and evaluate course performance for purposes of updating curriculum, improving course performance and/or to enhance the student experience
• Teach each year to maintain academic presence
• Other duties as assigned
• Develop professional and relevant program curriculum
• Perform timely and comprehensive program reviews as scheduled
