Director Fixed Income Settlements TECHNOLOGY

Our client is seeking a FULL TIME Director, Capital Markets Technology Modernization for this Hybrid Position in Fixed Income Settlements/Operations

Located in Toronto, ON

ROLE SCOPE

In this high-visibility role, you will be responsible for leading the strategy and delivery of critical Capital Markets technology systems. You will play a key role in shaping the future of the organization’s enterprise platforms, building and leading a high-performing team, and driving large-scale transformational change across the business.

YOUR EXPERTISE

• Executive Leadership, effective communications
• Having a proven record of driving/mentoring and growing a diverse team of 20 technical staff (Development/PM/BSA)

Technology Delivery

• Lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of critical LARGE Projects (2-15MM)
• Drive the design/delivery of integrations between enterprise platforms, bringing a deep Development / technical background
• Stakeholder Engagement – Vendor management
• Policy Development
• Senior liaison to senior business leaders, collaborating to understand goals, challenges, and technology needs.

Technical Experience

• Thorough understanding of CAPITAL MARKET systems architecture, integration, and customization.
• Familiarity with modern technologies such as API integrations, data analytics platforms, and workflow automation tools.
• Implement new practices /frameworks such as Agile, Lean, Design thinking, and DevOps
• Excellent business acumen specific to capital markets technologies
