About the Position: Acts as a liaison between the Military Police and Staff Judge Advocate (SJA). Prepares case files, ensures all evidence/appropriate paperwork is included in each case file (i.e., tickets, blood alcohol test results, drug analysis reports, radar certificates, criminal history background checks, driving histories, etc.).

Help
- Performs a variety of miscellaneous duties and responsibilities that provide continuity and efficiency of administrative office operations and procedures.
- The incumbent performs varied functions that support the accomplishment of the work of the staff.
- Applies knowledge of the various program elements assigned to staff members and of the mission and functions of the organization.
- Requires the ability to search, select, interpret, and apply numerous regulations and guidelines pertaining to administrative/clerical support functions, and organizational operating procedures.
- Coordinates with internal/external sources to advise on needs and ensure administrative and logistical support.
- Acts as a liaison between the Military Police and Staff Judge Advocate (SJA).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in the Federal service which includes, 1) Writing business letters for official purposes, 2) Maintaining office records such as case files, reports, and log book for complaints, AND 3) Preparing reports for the command or organization.
Selective Placement Factor: This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5-minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
