Packaging Design Lead, Graphic & Industrial Design

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled designer to join our Pune office full time and help lift the overall visual standard of our brand.

This role is ideal for someone with strong graphic design ability, excellent 3D product modelling skills, and a good understanding of premium packaging, retail displays, and in-store POS material.

You will be responsible for redesigning product packaging, improving our overall brand presentation, creating high quality photo realistic renders, and developing premium display concepts for retail stores.

This is not a basic graphic design role. We are looking for someone with strong taste, attention to detail, and the ability to create work that looks premium, modern, and commercially ready.

Key Responsibilities

Create new packaging designs across our product range, including boxes, labels, sleeves, inserts, trays, and retail packaging.

Develop premium packaging concepts that improve the overall brand look and make products stand out in-store.

Create 3D product models and photo realistic renders for packaging artwork, website use, marketing material, product launches, and internal presentations.

Design in-store display stands, POS displays, counter displays, shelf displays, and retail merchandising concepts.

Work on the visual direction of the brand, including layout, typography, product presentation, colour usage, and overall design consistency.

Prepare artwork files and design concepts that can be used by manufacturers, packaging suppliers, printers, and internal teams.

Assist with product presentation, product mockups, display concepts, and other design requirements as needed.

Work closely with our international team to improve the overall design standard across packaging, product visuals, and retail presence. Across each market.

Required Skills

Strong graphic design skills with excellent layout, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.

Strong 3D modelling and rendering ability.

Experience creating photo realistic product renders.

Experience with packaging design, retail packaging, or product presentation.

Good understanding of print design, packaging artwork, dielines, materials, finishes, and production requirements.

Ability to create premium, clean, modern designs, not generic or template-based work.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work across a large product range while keeping the brand consistent.

Ability to take a brief and turn it into high quality commercial design work.

Software Skills

Strong experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Strong experience in 3D software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, KeyShot, Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar.

Experience with rendering, lighting, materials, textures, and realistic product presentation.

Experience with Figma is beneficial.

Beneficial Skills

Product design or industrial design experience.

Experience designing moulded packaging, cardboard trays, inserts, foam packaging, or protective packaging.

Experience designing POSM, retail displays, exhibition displays, or in-store merchandising.

Experience working with factories, printers, packaging suppliers, or display manufacturers.

Experience in tools, hardware, automotive, electronics, industrial products, or consumer product packaging.

You can model products, build realistic scenes, create renders, and help improve how the brand is presented across packaging, displays, and marketing.

You care about the details, including proportions, spacing, finishes, shadows, materials, and how everything looks in the real world.
