Job Title: Asst Manufacturing Manager

Grade: 1D

Main Job Purpose:

Manufacturing Manager has overall responsibility for a unit within a factory. The MM leads all deliverables of the unit on SHE, Quality, Cost, Service & ER end to end and is a key member of the factory leadership team reporting to the factory manager.

Key Accountabilities:

• Deliver al core KPIs of his/her unit including
• SHE – Leading Indicators. Ensure compliance to all established SHE systems
• Quality – DPMU reduction thru focused QIPs, hygiene improvements
• Productivity – meeting OEE Glide path & driving capacity improvements
• Service – Ensure plan compliance and adapt to planner changes.
• Costs – Meeting ManEx Cost targets; Owns RR and works to improve efficiencies
• in line with lower repair costs by using WCM principles.
• Wastage – Driving technical efficiency reduction
• Controls – Ensuring all Control elements are fully met
• Innovation / Technology / Process Changes – Work with suit to land OTIFQ
• People – Ensure motivated shopfloor work force to deliver best results.
• Continuous Improvement – Lead Kaizen / Continuous improvement mindset in factory through employee engagement.
• Support factory manager (as a member of the factory leadership team) to execute factory master plan & on key operational decisions.

Professional Skills:

• Minimum BE/B.Tech in engineering.
• Worked reasonably on shopfloor managing multiple front-line executives & blue-collar workforce
• Experience Required: 5-8 years of experience in production/Engineering.
• FMCG experience
