JD: Outreach Expert / Journalist Relations ExecutiveWe are hiring an Outreach Expert who understands basic journalism, media pitching, and digital PR. The person will manage platforms like Featured.com, Qwoted.com, Muck Rack , and other journalist-source platforms to get expert quotes, articles, interviews, and brand mentions published on credible domains. ResponsibilitiesMonitor journalist queries and media opportunities daily. Respond to relevant queries with strong, non-promotional expert answers. Build journalist, editor, and publication lists. Run outreach campaigns for guest posts, interviews, expert quotes, and article placements. Coordinate with writers to prepare publishable content. Track outreach status, replies, published links, and domain quality. Find good websites and publications for article publishing and backlink opportunities. Ensure all communication sounds editorial, not salesy. Required SkillsBasic understanding of journalism and editorial writing. Strong English writing and research skills. Ability to write clear and credible journalist responses. Experience or interest in PR, media outreach, guest posting, and digital PR. Comfortable using email, Google Sheets, LinkedIn, Featured, Qwoted, Muck Rack, and similar tools. Ability to identify good-quality domains and avoid spammy websites. Good to HavePrevious published quotes, guest posts, or PR placements. Existing journalist or editor contacts. Basic SEO and backlink understanding. Experience in AI, marketing, SaaS, business, finance, or tech topics.
