About the Role

We are seeking a data-driven and analytical Data Scientist to support the development of biodegradable and sustainable materials. This role focuses on transforming experimental and performance data into actionable insights to enhance product efficiency, durability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, clean, and analyze material performance and experimental datasets
• Identify patterns in degradation rates, strength, durability, and usability
• Develop predictive models to forecast material behavior under different conditions
• Generate insights to support product optimization and R&D decisions
• Collaborate closely with scientists, product teams, and quality control
• Build dashboards and reports for data-driven decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.)
• Experience with data modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis
• Ability to work with experimental or scientific datasets
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

Preferred Skills

• Experience in material science, chemistry, or biomedical datasets
• Knowledge of predictive modeling for physical/chemical systems
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
• Experience working in R&D or product-driven environments
