They will improve TMS operational network performance by managing TMS input and output to positively impact our customer's networks. Additionally, they will interact with multiple contacts throughout the customer’s supply chain network. Finally, they will advance processes by improving the effectiveness and efficiency of standard work using various tools and working with CEM. What the Candidate Will Do <ul> <li>Responsible for ensuring all operational work is being completed by leveraging Transportation Management System (TMS) information and data analytics to ensure that work is being done correctly and timely, intervening as necessary to achieve desired customer results</li> <li>Uses critical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve customer outcomes</li> <li>Work with various team members across operations management, carrier management, and other internal departments to ensure that the customer is prioritized and served appropriately</li> <li>Prepare for and lead effective customer facing meetings</li> <li>Provide recommendations for process improvements and work collaboratively to achieve Uber Freight’s objectives</li> <li>Assist setting up and maintaining processes used to effectively execute day-to-day operations</li> <li>Own external KPI’s and metrics</li> <li>A line of escalation for customer but is responsible to make sure a response is given</li> <li>More reactive in the escalations they are dealing with</li> <li>Partner with Associate Manager - Operations </li> <li>Effective and timely freight coverage and carrier selection through managing compliance of routing guide and spot shipments</li> </ul> Basic Qualifications <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li> <li>Minimum 3 years of related experience</li> <li>Travel: Occasional travel required (approximately 3–5 times per year) for customer site visits, carrier meetings, or internal Uber Freight events.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Transportation Management or Business Administration related field</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft or Google Tools and of TMSF and root cause of TMSF issues.</li> <li>Knowledge of BI reporting and of the Oracle or Comparable ERP System, specifically Accounts Payable module(s), Uber Freight TMS, Shipment Planning, Shipment Entry, Shipment Execution, and TMS Lite.</li> </ul> Benefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees Employees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.  US based employees may also be eligible for a performance or sales incentive bonus program, participation in Uber Freight equity awards, and other types of compensation depending upon the role.
