Web Designer – Freelance

Join a project focused on enhancing the user experience and interface of an established tourism website. The site, built on WordPress and hosted on Hostinger, offers local experiences, tours, workshops, and products. The goal is to improve navigation, clarity, and conversion rates through targeted technical and design enhancements, not a full redesign.

You will implement a booking system, integrate WooCommerce for product sales, and optimize the mobile experience, all while preserving the existing content and structure.

Responsibilities

• Assess current website layout and user flows to identify areas for improvement
• Set up and configure a booking system using plugins such as Amelia or Bookly
• Integrate WooCommerce for seamless product sales and checkout processes
• Enhance mobile responsiveness and usability across devices
• Ensure all updates maintain the current site structure and content integrity
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize improvements that drive conversions
• Test and troubleshoot new features to ensure smooth user experience

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience with WordPress website design and customization
• Strong knowledge of WooCommerce setup and integration
• Familiarity with booking plugins (Amelia, Bookly, or similar)
• Demonstrated expertise in UX/UI design, especially for tourism or booking platforms
• Ability to optimize websites for mobile devices and improve site navigation
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining existing content and structure
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
• Availability for project-based freelance work
